Power technique #119: have you ever considered a 'mental' diet?

“I’m on a diet!” – we’ve said / heard this statement multiple times over. We tend to be cautious of what we eat, when we eat, how much we eat, go on a detox, and the list can go on and on.
But, how often have we gone on a ‘thought diet’ or a ‘mental diet’ – how many times have we consciously decided to stay away from negative thoughts, negative people, said no to things / people (I’m definitely guilty of not being able to say no), and chosen ‘healthier’ thoughts and people to surround ourselves with?
While maintaining a good physical diet is important, so is maintaining a thought & mental diet!
